I thought I would try and give some idea of what's happening in the reserve and based on past experience what you might expect to see 'If You Went Down To The Reserve To Day'But first a little bit about me and why I built this website.
My Name is George Ford and in the photo' above you can see me with my dogs, left to right
Razz ( As of 31st July 2004 he is no longer with us, thanks Razz for 12 wonderful years), Sheba and Trixie, they accompany me on all my trips to the Reserve.I moved back into the area after a 30 year exile and started visiting the Reserve armed with my newly aquired digital camera.
Things have continued like that for the past 6+ years with 5 changes of camera resulting in a collection of over 470 photographs.
So like all amateur photographers I looked for someway and somewhere to show them and what better way of doing this than on 'the web' and promote Wingate Quarry Local Nature Reserve at the same time.
